Thanks to South Indian movies I’m also scared of people here because everyone looks like some villain from those movies.

I tried to buy a coffee to keep me awake till my parents arrive. So, I went to the shop and asked the vendor for a coffee. Then he said something in Tamil which totally sounded gibberish to me but by his facial expressions and movement of eyes I thought he was asking about the scars on my hands. So, I confidently replied him, “Skin disease”. That’s it. Just two words. He again started to say something in Tamil. Out of which I could get only two words – “Infection” and “Ayurvedic”. I assumed that he must be asking about where am I treating it from. So when he said “infection”, I nodded my head positively and when he said “Ayurvedic”, I nodded my head negatively and said “CMC”. He again said something in Tamil to which I smiled and I took my coffee from him and walked away awkwardly.

It’s going to be tough.
